ALPINE RUSH

PRIVACY NOTICE

Last updated: August 26, 2026

What stays on your device

Gameplay preferences, local scores, medals, progression, and replay data are stored in your browser’s local storage. The game has no advertising or analytics SDKs.

Third-party requests

The game may request weather data from Open-Meteo. That service receives the normal technical information sent with a web request, such as your IP address. Review Open-Meteo’s own privacy and terms pages for its practices. The game does not load remote fonts.

Sharing

The Share button uses your browser’s Web Share API when available. Otherwise it copies generated run text to your clipboard. The game does not upload your replay through this feature.

Optional leaderboard service

The repository includes an optional, separate leaderboard starter service. It is not connected to the static game by default. If deployed, it may process a rate-limit IP address and publicly display an anonymous score and timestamp. Deployers must publish a service-specific privacy notice, retention/deletion process, and content-moderation contact before enabling it.

Children

Do not submit personal information or a child’s name to any optional leaderboard. Operators who enable networked features must independently assess and comply with applicable children’s privacy laws, including COPPA where applicable.

Contact

For this open-source project, contact the maintainers through the project repository. A public deployment that enables the optional leaderboard must replace this with the deployer’s legal name and a private privacy contact before launch; do not post personal information in a public issue.
